This October, I am traveling to Haiti to volunteer for an organization called Living Water International.  Last December before the earthquakes, when I learned that 52% of Haitians did not have clean drinking water, I knew that I wanted to help.  I felt a compelling call from God to give back and to help others who aren’t able to help themselves.

Immediately, I began making plans to go.  And since the earthquakes, the need is now even more immediate!  From October 10^th-18^th, I will help repair water well pumps. I know that I will receive more from this experience than I can even imagine.  I’m so looking forward to this challenge!

Here’s how you can help!  My goal is to raise $5,000 by July 1, 2010.  This money will help fund the cost of the trip and the cost of the materials for a well pump.  If you would like to help bring clean drinking water to the people of Haiti, please schedule any cleaning services with us before July 1, 2010 and Paul’s Carpet Cleaning will not charge you a penny!  We only ask that you make a tax-deductible donation for the amount of the cleaning, made payable to Living Water International.  Just be sure to mention this when you call to set the appointment.  Or, if you would simply like to make a tax-deductible donation, please write the check payable to Living Water International and mail it directly to me:
